Novel headgear encouraged for all.  And those who fail to do so will be expected to pay a forfeit of 2 guineas (£2.10) to the Lord Provost's chosen charity - The One-City Trust! This will be open to all

RIDING OF THE MARCHES, EDINBURGH                                                                                       Stand near the Mercat Cross (opposite the City Chambers) on the Royal Mile.                                     The procession ends with around 300 horses, led by the elected Edinburgh Captain and Lass, riding up the Royal Mile to the Mercat Cross where a Declaration is made to the Lord Provost and the City Banner is returned to him

   
Early / mid Sept. ANTONINE WALL VISIT                                                                                                                    A guided walk along part of the wall and view some of the finds from the wall, currently in the Hunterian Museum, Glasgow.  Details to follow
